Thy Rummy Federation (TRF) will be hosting a Skill Gaming Summit 2018 on 19th July 2018 at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai 2018. Skill Gaming Summit 2018 is first kind of event by The Rummy Federation (TRF) formed in December 2017 by all major rummy operators in India. Skill Gaming Summit will be the second event this year after all India Gaming Summit 2018 by AIGF in March 2018. Skill Gaming Summit will provide a common platform for operators across rummy operators to set the common standards to protect players and promote responsible playing. On announcing the Skill Gaming Summit President of The Rummy Federation Mario Galea said “With a high growth rate and improvement in technology infrastructure facilitating the booming ITES (Information Technology and Information Technology enabled services) industry in India, online rummy too has gained increasing acceptability across rummy players in India” He also added “This growing industry is now poised at a point where it is apt for the stakeholders to collectively self-regulate by benefiting from each other’s experience. The Rummy Federation, an initiative by the online Rummy industry, proactively adopts state-of-the-art practices from countries where the gaming industry is regulated and lays down stringent self-governance guidelines for online rummy operators. This initiative will ensure that the online rummy industry offers healthy and sustainable entertainment to rummy players across the country.”
About The Rummy Federation(TRF):
The Rummy Federation is a non-profit society that will self-regulate the online rummy industry to encourage the responsible gaming in India. The main objective of the federation is to promote Rummy as a game of Skill rather than gambling. The founding members of The Rummy federation include professionals from various areas of expertise such as online gaming, finance, law, and banking.

Mario Galea is the president of The Rummy Federation. Mario has been working within the gaming industry for the past twenty years, he established Malta Gaming Authority in 2004 also launched the Remote Gaming Regulations in 2004 which were the first to regulate the online gaming in a responsible manner. Mario has expertise in policy making for regulators and business seeking to enter or are operating in the online gaming market.
